Our Story
Dento Piano Cafe & Bar was founded in the heart of SoMa by two partners—I am D.J.(Dongjoo) and I am a registered nurse. And Monica is the pianist who has taught and performed throughout the Bay Area. What started as a shared dream became a space that reflects everything they love: music, culture, conversation, and care. Dento is built around one idea: make people feel good. Every note played, every cup poured, and every guest welcomed is part of that mission. We’re proud to offer a space that feels as good as it sounds, where artistry meets hospitality and everyone is invited to stay a while.
